Romanian ShowDown is an international event dedicated to CrossFit, sports, and movement, built around a community of people who love training and competition.

The 2026 edition of Romanian ShowDown marks another important milestone for the CrossFit community in Romania, being the only CrossFit Licensed Event in Romania's history. This means high organizational standards, compliance with official rules, and an authentic competitive experience for all participants.

The competition is primarily dedicated to the amateur athlete community, offering categories for various experience levels. For the 2026 edition, we are developing the competition structure and introducing new categories to give more athletes the opportunity to compete.

Experience Category

Is this your first time participating in a CrossFit competition?
The Experience category is the perfect place to enter the Romanian ShowDown arena and experience the energy of a major competition for the first time, in a friendly and motivating environment.
And if you want to impress the crowd with a heavy snatch and squat, your place is probably in a higher category.

ADVANCED Category

Have you gained experience and want to test your limits?
The Advanced category offers the perfect balance between challenge, intensity, and a real opportunity for progress in the arena.
It is the place where athletes who have moved past the beginner level can measure their strength, endurance, and consistency in a serious competition.
And if you have already participated in the RX category and are thinking about returning here… honestly, maybe it would be better to stay in the stands.
If you have stood on the podium in this category before… definitely NOT.

If you are an advanced athlete, the RX category challenges you to give your absolute best in the arena, in an intense competition without compromises.
It is the place where the level is high, every rep counts, and respect goes to those who choose to step onto this ground.

Masters 35+

You still have the skills of an RX category, but the competition takes on a different dimension.
The Masters 35+ category is about experience, strategy, and control – a different kind of competition where every decision in the arena counts.
Here, it is not just about strength or speed, but about how you manage your effort, pace, and the key moments of the workout.
A respectable vibe, built by athletes who continue to compete at a high level.
And yes… if you’ve started to notice that your speed isn't quite what it used to be, the first signs of the Masters category have likely already appeared.

Scaled Category

Are you new to competitions or want to feel the atmosphere of a major event? This is the perfect category to make your debut in a friendly and motivating environment.

Teens 15-17 ani Category

Are you a teenager between 15 and 17 and want to feel the excitement of a real competition? This is the perfect category for you, where you can make your debut in a friendly, fun, and high-energy environment!

40+ Category

Passion for sport has no age.
The Masters 40+ category brings athletes into the arena who continue to train, compete, and prove that physical fitness and the drive for performance have no limits.
This is where experience, discipline, and mindset make the difference.
And yes… if you still choose to enter the arena after 40, that already says everything about you. Respect.
